ODF Nutra is a leader in the development and the exploitation of a system of liberation of active ingredients by oral route in the form of fastdissolution strips; the ODF system (Orally Dissolving Film). The company situated in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, exploits a production plant certified by Health Canada for the manufacturing of natural health products. ODF Nutra excels in the development and/or manufacturing of natural health products and nutraceuticals in the form of oral/buccal strips.
We propose to the companies of natural health products and nutraceuticals, the possibility of offering to their clientele a new form of administration for their traditional and new products. ODF Nutra offers a complete line of service, at the level of development, as well as manufacturing and packaging of products.
ODF Nutra continues to widen the range of products offered to industry by adding in to the traditional forms (compressed tablets, capsules, etc .) its fast-dissolution oral strips and its drinkable gels. ODF Nutra offers you a partnership giving you access to the marketing of state-of-the-art technological products.
Whatever the project, ODF Nutra has the passion, the resources and the expertise necessary for the introduction of new products in the form of oral and buccal strips on the market, while being constantly on the lookout for new applications and for new partnerships.

OUR HISTORY
ODF Nutra was created in 2018, is the result of the closing ODF Pharma by its founder, Norbert Mc Mullen and the creation of a new company which better represents its activities. ODF Pharma is a company accredited by Health Canada for the development, the manufacturing, the labelling and the marketing of natural health products.
Karine Mc Mullen worked for ODF Pharma since its creation in 2010 and occupied various positions, R&D, operator, director of production and marketing which prepared her well for this new challenge
A little of history …
1998 : BioEnvelop is created in Laval, as a result of a spin-off of Armand-Frappier Institute of a technology of making gels and alimentary coatings.
2001 : A manufacturing plant is built in Saint- Hyacinthe.
2003 : BioEnvelop partners with PharmaDev for the manufacturing and marketing of fast dissolve oral film strips for existing PharmaDev clients.
2003 : Development and set-up of a unique system of casting and drying fast dissolve oral and buccal films.
2004 : Development and set-up of a unique system of cutting and packaging (primary) of oral and buccal film strips.
2006 : BioEnvelop obtains it site licence for natural product manufacturing, labelling and packaging from Health Canada.
2007 : Paladin Laboratories Inc acquires BioEnvelop.
2007 :MC
2008 : ODF Technology obtains its first marketing licence for an energy strip from Health Canada.
2010 : BioEnvelop and ODF Technologies are fused to create ODF Pharma Inc.
2014 : ODF Pharma obtains a marketing licence for its Cold and Flu, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12 and Melatonin strips.
2015 : ODF Pharma obtains a licence for its Cough and Throat strips.
2018 : ODF Nutra was created by the succession to pursue the development, manufacturing and marketing of natural products specifically.
2018 : ODF Nutra obtains a marketing licence for its Melatonin 5 and 10 mg film strips from Health Canada.
